So I get this email today, from my Ex-Wife, and I just cannot resist taking a lil peek. So now I know I should prob. just block the email from this Jesus-Toting nutjob, but it tends to usually be some really entertaining forwards that are just so funny!
The usual ones are kinda like a call to arms type message. You know the ones that strike fear into the hearts of the bible thumpers? The ones that have the "Gays are gonna recruit your kids" or "They wanna take GOD out of our country" or "GOD is under attack in America" type themes. Always claiming that this "Group" is trying in one way or another to do some damage to their rights. But never naming this monster that is coming for your "Religeous Freedoms".
Well folks, this was not one of those mails. More after the fold.
This one was a call for
values for Marriage Funny that I should get an email, from the woman that cheated on me, while I was offshore, in the Gulf of Mexico earning a living to support her and her two kids that I raised as my own. But this is another story, back to the topic. SO the funny thing about this, is that not only does this woman not know a thing about Marriage Values, but she forwards this me, knowing that I have a gay sister that I love to death! A sister that is raising a kid, that I call my nephew, that her partner had with donated sperm.
A gay sister, that I might add, that has managed to have a longer relationship that I and my nutjob wife did!!
Here is what the mail said:
Voice Your Values for Marriage Before the Senate Votes!
Voice Your Values for Marriage Before the Senate Votes!
May 24, 2006 | Refer a Friend
Less than two weeks from today the U.S. Senate will vote on S. J. Res. 1, the Marriage Protection Amendment to the Constitution. Marriage is an indispensable institution, and this is a vote of surpassing importance. In the decades to come, our children and our grandchildren will turn to us and ask, "When the issue of marriage was decided, were you involved? Where did you stand?"
I've written lengthy emails on this issue before, but this one will be short. We need at least 13,000 more signers of our online petition to reach our goal. These petitions will be presented to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist on Monday, June 5. I would like to count your name, and those of your family and friends, among the signers. Please take a few seconds to add your name to this petition in support of the Marriage Protection Amendment.
Let's all take the actions needed to answer the question the rising generations will ask us: "Where did you stand?"
Petition to U.S. Senators for Preserving Traditional One-Man/One-Woman Marriage in America
Sincerely,
Tony Perkins
President
P.S. The Family Research Council website at www.frc.org is keeping a running tally of signers of our petition in support of S. J. Res. 1. Our goal is a minimum of 50,000 names. Can we count on you to forward this email to your family and friends so they can sign the petition? Thank you and God bless you.
So I think Tony Perkins and my Ex-Wife deserve my first ever "Dunce Award". So come on down Tony and Cathy, and accept the Katrinacrat's first issue of the "Dunce Award"
Dunce Award: for most annoying nutjub of the day goes to Tony Perkins and my lovely Ex-Wife, Cathy. Go sit in the corner Dumbass!!
I might have found something in this after all. What do you think about a continued issue of the Dunce Awards? Maybe I can have the Kossacks submit their choices.
